North Metro Atlanta is known for it's high median home prices. Cities such as Alpharetta and Roswell contain some of the most desirable homes in the state of Georgia. Luxury neighborhoods and upscale shopping is common in this pristine area. As you venture further out, the picturesque views are incredible. The advantage that the northern region has that the others do not, are the beautiful landscapes created by the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
West Metro Atlanta houses some historic cities such as Marietta, Georgia. Further out are the growing cities of Powder Springs and Hiram. Affordable home prices have driven many new home seekers out to this region over the last 3-5 years. There are many neighborhoods available in this area where one can still find a lot to build on over one acre.
South Metro Atlanta is home to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Home to many large international companies such as Delta, this area is comprised of commercial and industrial real estate. Further to the south is where cities such as Peachtree City are located. A very affluent town where most of the citizens own golf carts to commute through the downtown area.
East Metro Atlanta houses a fast growing real estate market. Cities such as Snellville and Dacula have almost doubled in size over the last five years due to extreme growth. A short commute to Atlanta, and affordable housing has contributed to this region's population boom. Communities such as Stone Mountain and Lithonia have also seen a tremendous amount of growth for most of the same reasons.
